Sneak Peek

Here is a little sneak peek (am I spelling that right?) at the 2009 Sario Family Yearbook.
Molly (2 years old) took this picture of Willy while we were playing on our back porch.
Just a little natural talent, wouldn't you agree?

One of my favorite pictures of my babies having a blast at our cabin. I couldn't resist adding a 70's look to the photo to match our "retro" (ok, it's just old!) cabin. In this photo Molly was helping Willy put on his shoes so they could go play outside.

Candace and Molly

I have google desktop on my work computer with the photos gadget installed. So all day long I have pictures of my babies scrolling on the bottom of my screen. I got this picture from Candace and I just love it of both of them. I had to post it. :)

My Son is One Today!

Happy first birthday to my sweet, sweet boy!
Today is also Sio's birthday! (Sio is Molly's way of saying Mr. Sario (that's what Bill wanted his grandkids to call him). It's pronounced See-oh.)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

A Day In The Life

I decided to try out iGoogle to see what it can offer. I've always loved the simplicity of Google but I want a quick way to get to my blogger and mail. I'm trying out the quick blogger to see what it posts like. Unfortunately, it looks like I can't post a picture here though. Alright, I better get back to filing. Ug!

Oh, by the way, I WON THE CONTEST! I was randomly picked by Hand Picked Pumpkin and received $40 off my next order with them! I'm so excited to pick out a little outfit for Willy! I will post a picture of it when I do. Maybe I'll splurge and get one for Molly too. :)

Hand Picked Pumpkin Contest

As many of you know, I like to sew. I especially love making things for my babies. I was doing some research trying to find a way to custom-make some clothes for my babes and I came across the most adorable site: http://www.handpickedpumpkin.com/. It's so cute, you can pick different fabrics and customize a whole outfit. I love it. Anyway, I signed up for their e-mail and found out that they are having their first contest. :) The idea is to tell them what our favorite item of baby clothing is so they can get some ideas on a new design for the hand picked pumpkin collection. Great idea. Here is what I love:

My daughter is 2 and a half and very tall and thin. She's about a size 24month waist, but 3T length (I haven't gotten her to stand still long enough to get her actual measurements :)! So, whenever I go shopping for pants for her I always look for that nifty design inside the waistband. There is elastic sewn into the waistband with a little button at the opening. The elastic has holes in it so as you pull it out so you can cinch it up real tight. Since I have never seen a child's belt (they probably would never keep it on anyway), I love this feature so she isn't walking around in floods or with her pants around her ankles.

That's it for now. If you have someone to buy baby clothes for, you should definitely check out this website.

The Sario Cabin

Welcome to our cabin! We bought this sweet little home away from home as partners with Will's parents and are so excited to start making lots of great memories here. Will's grandparents own a cabin up at Hartland so when this cabin came up for sale we immediately started looking into it. It's just a stones throw away from the Hirni cabin and has a beautiful lot. Even though the cabin needs a lot of work (hard to tell from these photos!), it will still be a lot of fun during the renovation process. We can't wait to get it ready to bring our friends and family up to enjoy it with us!

This is us, making our way to the front door of our cabin for the first time! We drove through a storm that day so the snow was really fresh and went up half my calf!

In we go!

Beautiful! We just went up this past weekend and the snow is almost all melted. At about noon the sun shines down right on this little bench. It's so beautiful and relaxing!

Will and I started up the fire and the little heaters and began planning our attack on the cabin. This is the little living room area. The previous owner has not taken his stuff out yet. He is planning on leaving us the couches and chairs, which is nice, but hopefully he takes all his little nick-nacks with him! :)

We stayed at the Hirni cabin this time. Here is a picture of Molly doing dishes with Gramzy.

Willy playing in one of Gramzy's cabin egg crates. She uses egg crates to tote up laundry, food, and other stuff. She gave us one as a cabin-warming presant. :)

Molly had a blast sledding down the hill in front of the Hirni cabin. She is so brave!

Will was such a good sport and got soaking wet going up and down the hill for nearly an hour with Molly. They were both wiped out when they were done!

MarMar holding Willy on our journey from the Hirni cabin to the Sario cabin.

We love Hartland!!!

Finally...An Update!!!

Finally, a moment to spare! Here are some darling pictures of my little darlings!

A beautiful spring day in the middle of winter!
